Filmmaking with my Phone
After shooting my first official short film with my iPhone, I applied to many international film festivals in order to earn prize money to buy a camera. Surprisingly, this garnered widespread empathy and resulted in numerous awards, with cumulative prize money and scholarships totaling $7,500.
However, instead of buying a camera, I used the funds for more film productions that deal with mental health issues to help teenagers with psychological difficulties. I still shoot with my iPhone.
