The Chronicle of the Tenafly Theatre (Time-lapse Video, 2024)

A movie theater with a century of history awaits demolition in my hometown. To keep its memories alive, I launched Save Tenafly Cinema Project and searched for images and video clips to re-enact its chronology; however, the local library housed scant glimpses of its past. I thus decided to harness AI-based visual effects to transform the images and fill in the missing pieces. Despite my initial reservations, this project propelled me to re-evaluate Generative AI’s role in art and society.​​

• Recreated the 100-year history of my town's movie theater, which is slated for demolition.
